there is no doubt that art is influenced by the customs and faith of a people.and it's not amazing that people can see modern paintings，sculptures and designings in public places in our daily life. it's said that in ancient china emperors showed great respect for dragons and they regarded themselves as dragons, yellow powerful animals，which was a symbol of the chinese nation.
that's why most of the royal buildings like the forbidden city, have yellow roofs.even more amazing the emperors，the sons of heaven had dragons carved on the stones of these grand buildings.
