teaching aims:
1. students will be able to read some exhibition boards about the history of television and audio devices;
2. students will be able to know the reading strategy --- understanding subtitles;
3. students will be able to talk about the development of other electronic devices.

what does the tv in your home look like?
how big is it? is it in color or in black and white?
what audio devices do you choose to enjoy music?
what functions else do you need in an audio device besides playing music?
step 2 fast reading
