thoughts on the design:
本节课是阅读课,主要是让学生通过对文章的阅读,对美国的人口迁移有所了解,通过任务型阅读这一新的考察形式检查学生对于文章内容的理解,并且让学生通过讨论的形式,对我国的大量民工入城打工的现象进行讨论,发表观点。
teaching aims:
1.know something about the movement in the usa.
2.try to improve students’ reading ability.
3.know how to match pictures with captions when reading newspapers or magazines.
teaching procedures:
step 1 lead-in
the teacher begins the lesson by asking students to say something about the history of immigrants to america according to their survey. the teacher just shows a picture to help students fulfill the presentation.
《设计说明》教师通过presentation这一形式,一来检查了学生作业的完成情况,二来可以为文章的导入做好准备。教师运用美国殖民时期的一张地图,可以让学生对于美国这一移民国家有更为深入的了解。美国移民的历史可查阅网上资料,参考网站:http://zhidao.baidu.com/question/55021957.html。美国不仅是一个移民国家,而且时至今日,美国国内人口的迁移依然在进行着。
