step two: reading comprehension
1. fast reading. ask students read fast and finish part a.

because there was a thick fog that afternoon, and she wondered if the bus would still be running.
why did polly take the underground to green park?
because it was too foggy for the bus to go to king street.
what was the weather like outside the station?
the fog lay like a thick, grey cloud.
2. second reading. ask some questions and true or false statements to help them understand better.
