语法一：主谓一致
“主谓一致”是指谓语动词与主语必须在人称、数上保持一致.
i. 集合名词的主谓一致
1) 集合名词: audience; army; class; company; crowd; enemy; family; group; government; public; population; team等作主语时，若作为一个整体看待，谓语动词用单数;若着眼于组成该集体的各个成员或个体时，谓语用复数。
eg: the population in china is very large and 80% of the population _________________________.
中国人口很多，其中百分之八十的人住在乡下。
his family_____ small and his family______ all music lovers. (be)
2) 集体名词: people, cattle’ police, clothes等作主语，谓语动词用复数。
eg: the police _______________________________________________________(正在寻找丢失的孩子)
3) the +形容词/-ed分词
eg: the rich are not always generous to the poor.
富人并不总是对穷人慷慨。
2. 由and连接的并列成分但指的是同一概念或一个人的双重身份时谓语动词为单数，但由and连接的两个并列成分表示两个不同的概念时，谓语动词用复数。
the worker and writer_____ (be) from beijing.
the worker and the writer_______ (be) from beijing.
常见的由and连接的指一个概念的有：
the needle and thread 针线 salt and water盐水 the folk and knife 刀叉 iron and steel 钢铁
3. each…and each…, no …and no …, every…and every…, many a…and many a…等由and连接并列单数主语的结构中，谓语动词用单数。
eg: every boy and every girl _________________________________. (有权利接受教育)
many a boy and many a girl________________________________. (已经见过这幅油画)
