必修三module 1 reading 教学设计

一. 教材分析:

   本课是高一英语第三册第一课第一课时，是一篇介绍欧洲某些国家的文章，内容包括了国家的名称,首都,语言,著名城市和文艺建筑，并附有照片, 图文并茂地描述了这些欧洲国家的概况.

二.  教学目标

 1. knowledge objectives 知识目标

语言知识：学习本课出现的新的语言点

主要词汇： across，boot，continents，landmark，birthplace，      civilization，design，popular, influence situated, located, etc

主要短语：more  than, work on, be known as, because of, etc

主要句型：paris is the capital and largest city of france, situated on           the river seine.

2. ability objective能力目标

improve the students’ reading ability through reading activities. (通 过阅读活动提高学生的阅读理解能力。)

3. affective objectives 情感价值目标

通过学习地理位置的表达，让学生描述自己的家乡，从而对学生进行爱家乡，爱人民，爱自己的文化的爱国主义教育。（写作任务）

三.  teaching important points(教学重点)

  1. 教学目标中的词汇和句型。

  2. 通过阅读练习的处理提高学生的阅读理解能力。 

   teaching difficult points(教学难点)

四. 学情分析

   学生已经掌握了略读、跳读等一定的阅读技巧以及识别关键词、确定主题句、预测等阅读微技能，形成了初步的阅读策略。但大部分学生的基础知识仍然较为薄弱，运用英语进行交际活动的能力较差.

1.学生做单词记忆练习.

2.归纳总结自己对欧洲国家情况的知识.

八. 教学过程

   (一) 预习检查 总结疑惑

 请一些学生作单词短语的听写练习,以检查他们的基础知识的 掌握情况.

(二). 情景导入  展示目标

      幻灯显示 “what can you think of when speaking of——london, paris, italy, spain, rome, greece.”

  学生独立思考后回答

   目的：1. 了解学生对欧洲国家的了解程度

         2.  激发学生探究问题的兴趣

  (三). 合作探究 精讲点拨

step ii  pre-reading

幻灯显示  country, capital, people and language

london is the capital of______________, where people speak__________, the people is called_____________.

分别用paris, italy, spain, rome, greece.做替换练习。

先叫五位同学来做，显示正确答案后让其他学生在下面反复练习

目的： 1. 学习country, capital, people and language 的专用名词。 

       2. 引入阅读主题

1. 接step ii 后，teacher: what great buildings are there in these cities?

after collecting students’ answers, teacher show them some pictures, and ask them what these buildings are and where they are.
